Two months and already I feel the lure of LJ, lol.

So much is happening at the moment. Work is stressing me out, family is stressing me out and on top of all that (actually, more than likely because of all that) I keep getting sick.

I'm back to having practically no free time to myself *sigh* My clinical placement is over after I spending 3 weeks working on an orthopaedic ward and loving every minute of it! Which is a huge relief and a massive weight off of my shoulders. I saw and learnt so much while I was working there, it was absolutely amazing :D Now I have to begin ( Read more... )

Urgh! It's like 1:06 in the morning and I'm still going... stupid essays. Stupid me for leaving it until the last minute :P I'm almost done, but I have like 3 pages of references to write up still :S That's what I get from procrastinating...

I'm currently 1,606 words into a 2500 word essay. You know you're struggling with an essay when you check the word count every few minutes. Getting the words onto paper has been like drawing blood from a stone.

Kill me.

God, it's been ages since I've updated! No excuse really, I've just been lazy :P busy with uni and work. Things are pretty full on at the moment, I'm at uni five days a week for the majority of the day, and working weekends. Today was day three of hell my nursing clinicals. I know already that aged care is definitely NOT for me. It's not that I don't like working with the elderly per se; rather I just think that it takes someone special to be able to work in aged care-to want to work in aged care.
